What the Course Encompasses

Instruction on Proper Paddle Stroke, Techique

Proper paddle stroke and technique is the foundation to SUP and we make it our mission to teach others how to paddle correctly. Why? So they have an enjoyable, empowered experience becoming efficient paddlers. During our course, you will learn how to teach and coach new paddlers, from land to water including how to cue and correct.

Safety, Board and Equipment, Art of Coaching

Safety and awareness is key while on the water. Having an understanding of boards allows you to guide new paddlers to choosing appropriate equipment that suits their needs and ability.

Coaching is an art, it's something that is cultivated through practice, patience, and presence. We want our coaches to have the most success so we include skills that will allow them to best help others.

Our Signature SUP Fitness Program

Paddle Fused Fitness classes are one of Stand and Paddle's exclusive signature experiences. Started in Bluffton back in 2018 by Rachel Cantore and Roddy Medders. Roddy provided the boards, and with Rachel's fitness and personal training background she developed an entire workout on your paddle board. Classes have been a huge hit in the Lowcountry! Coaches will learn the PFF level one class curriculum.

Special pricing rates and packages are available for groups of 5-10 people.

A minimum 50% Deposit is due at booking to reserve. Payment plans may be worked out if necessary. Reservations are open until filled. Prices subject to increase as we near date of event. Payment link will be emailed to and payments serve as reservation confirmation. Options of payment methods include Venmo (@rachel-cantore), Zelle (standandpaddlesup@gmail.com, PayPal/CC (+3% fee), or check. There is a 3% fee for paypal/cc payments. Full balance must be paid in full minimum 30 days prior to first day of event.
